A Merry Day
This post is, admittedly, late; but to borrow a cheap pun, better late than never. So the topic is Friday, a day in which I think I managed to indulge the most basic of girlie fantasies. I began the day at a spa, where I redeemed a gift certificate that my chinnie babies had given me for Mother's Day. I had a deep sea mud wrap and a massage. Oh such bliss. Oh such joy.
Oh, those little fluffy, furry babies got extra raisins Friday night. My skin was (and still is) soft and silky... not something I get to do everyday, but a rare treat is often the best type of treat.
The only thing I must say (and I caution anyone going to the spa to remember this) is deep tissue massage kind of hurts. Who knew I had such knots of tension living in my neck and shoulders. The payoff was, great, though. This has been the first time, in a while, that the underlying soreness in my legs is gone. Completely melted away and I still feel fab two days later. Guess, I found the antidote for Mikey Muscles.
Then I met with my sister to do some preliminary wedding dress shopping. While I've decided to keep the identity of my dress a secret I can say my sister and I actually had a lovely time. For all the griping I do about her (and 99.4% of it is completely accurate and well deserved) she really has a knack for fashion - much like our own NYCGirrl. So, we're down to two dresses, which to me, means I have not met the one (or, have I met the one and am now just being crafty in this post?).
;-)
