Monday... again

Well, it's Monday, which always seems to come too quickly, but the weekend was a lovely one. I thought I'd blog this tidbit, since it definately would have been worth of a walk to Starbucks.
Saturday, marked a year of us being enagaged and we went to get the new cage for the kiddos. (FYI if any child welfare type folks are reading, my kiddos are rodents and the cage is uber posh.) It was really a nice ride with a lot of lovely conversation, some wedding planning and some looking back (fondly) over the past year.
We actually detoured to a winery, which was interesting because I had no idea that vineyards existed in that part of the country. We got a nice bottle of Apple wine - a light, sweet fruity white and a Cherry wine - which we haven't opened yet.
The kids were not immediately in love with the new cage. It's funny, I got pets that hate change, just like me ;-) . So we spent most of the early part of the evening reassuring them that we still loved them, we didn't get another pair of chins, and that everything would be ok in the new cage. They eventually settled down and are now quite happy. I do have some photos, so if anyone wants to see, let me know.
